Activities
- Set up a teddy bear picnic: Lay the picnic blanket on the floor or in the backyard. Arrange the teddy bears or stuffed animals in a circle as if they are having a picnic.
- Pretend play: Encourage the student to join the teddy bears for a picnic. They can use their imagination to serve and share the pretend food with their teddy bear friends.
- Teddy bear parade: Have the student line up their teddy bears and lead a parade around the room or outside. They can sing or hum a simple tune as they march.
- Teddy bear hunt: Hide the teddy bears around the house or yard, and let the student find them. Use simple clues or gestures to guide them to the hidden bears.
- Arts and crafts: Provide coloring pages or blank paper for the student to draw or paint pictures of teddy bears or their picnic. Encourage them to be creative and use different colors.
