Objective

Materials and Prep
- Construction paper
- Crayons or markers
- Scissors (only to be used under adult supervision)
- Tape or glue stick
- A few household items like empty boxes, plastic containers, or bottle caps
No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Create an Inventor's Hat: Help the student make a simple hat using construction paper. Let them decorate it with crayons or markers to make it unique.
- Build an Invention: Encourage the student to use the household items provided to create their own invention. Let their imagination run wild!
- Show and Tell: Have the student present their invention to you or a family member. Ask them to explain what it does and how it can be useful.
