Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to give a 2-minute presentation about lizards.

Materials and Prep

  • Paper and pencils
  • Access to a computer or books about lizards
  • Access to a printer (optional)

Before starting the lesson, make sure the student has a basic understanding of writing and can read simple sentences.

Activities

  • Research: Encourage the student to explore books or websites about lizards. They can write down interesting facts or draw pictures of different types of lizards.
  • Visual aids: If possible, print out or draw pictures of various lizards. Cut them out and help the student create a mini poster or collage to use during their presentation.
  • Practice presentation: Have the student practice speaking about lizards for 2 minutes. You can time them and provide feedback on their clarity and pronunciation.
