Materials and Prep
- No additional materials are required for this lesson.
- The student should have a basic understanding of numbers and counting.
Activities
Activity 1: Counting Game
Encourage the student to count objects or toys in a calm and patient manner. This activity helps the student practice waiting for their turn and counting with self-control.
Activity 2: Freeze Dance
Play some music and have the student dance freely. However, when the music stops, instruct the student to freeze in their current position. This game teaches the student to control their movements and impulses.

- "In our story, the character learned that waiting and thinking before acting can help them make good choices."
- "Let's practice waiting together and see how it can make things better."
