Materials and Prep
- Picture book about Passover
- Coloring materials (crayons, markers, etc.)
- Printed coloring pages related to Passover
- Optional: Matzah crackers
Prior knowledge: The student should have some basic vocabulary and understanding of holidays and traditions.
Activities
- Read a Picture Book: Start the lesson by reading a picture book about Passover. Show the illustrations and discuss the story with the student.
- Coloring Pages: Provide the student with printed coloring pages related to Passover. Encourage them to color and talk about the different elements they see in the pictures.
- Matzah Tasting: If available, offer the student a piece of Matzah cracker to taste. Explain that Matzah is a special food eaten during Passover.
