Activities
Activity 1: "Open, Shut Them"
Teach the student the fingerplay "Open, Shut Them" where they open and close their hands in rhythm while singing the song. Encourage them to follow along and have fun with the actions.
Activity 2: "Five Little Ducks"
Sing the song "Five Little Ducks" with the student and use their fingers to represent the ducks. Show them how to count down from five to zero using their fingers as the ducks disappear. Encourage them to join in and enjoy the interactive fingerplay.
Activity 3: "Itsy Bitsy Spider"
Teach the student the fingerplay "Itsy Bitsy Spider" where they use their fingers to mimic the spider climbing up and down. Sing the song together and demonstrate the finger movements. Encourage them to follow along and have fun with the actions.
