Objective

The objective of this lesson is for the student to learn and remember the sequence of the days of the biblical week of creation in English through a fun song.

Materials and Prep

  • No materials are needed for this lesson.
  • No prior knowledge is required.

Activities

  • Introduce the student to the "Biblical Weekday Song" by singing it together. Encourage the student to clap along or do simple hand motions to make it more engaging.
  • After singing the song a few times, ask the student to try singing it on their own. Provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Create a visual aid by drawing or printing out pictures representing each day of the biblical week of creation. Show the pictures to the student while singing the song to reinforce the sequence.
  • Play a game of "Simon Says" using the days of the biblical week of creation. For example, you can say "Simon says touch the picture of the day God created the animals." This will help the student associate the days with their corresponding events.
  • Encourage the student to practice the song and the sequence of the days throughout the day. Offer praise and rewards for their efforts.
