  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Printouts of pictures of different U.S. presidents
  • Printouts of the American flag

Activities

  • Create a President's Day Card: Have the student fold a piece of construction paper in half to make a card. Encourage them to decorate the front of the card with markers or crayons, drawing symbols of the United States like the American flag, the White House, or Mount Rushmore. Inside the card, they can write a special message or draw a picture of their favorite president.
  • Presidential Coloring: Provide printouts of different U.S. presidents and let the student color them using markers or crayons. Encourage them to be creative and use their favorite colors.
  • Presidential Cutouts: Print out pictures of the American flag, the White House, and Mount Rushmore. Help the student cut out these pictures and glue them onto a separate piece of construction paper. They can then create a collage of these iconic symbols of the United States.
