Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify and name different colors of Lego bricks.
Materials and Prep
- Lego bricks of various colors
- A clear space to work and play
Activities
- Sorting Colors: Have the student sort the Lego bricks into different piles based on their colors. Encourage them to name each color as they sort.
- Color Match: Show the student a Lego brick of a specific color and ask them to find other bricks that match that color.
- Building with Colors: Ask the student to build a tower or a simple structure using only bricks of a specific color. This will reinforce their understanding of colors while also developing their fine motor skills.
- Color Hunt: Hide Lego bricks of different colors around the room and have the student find them. As they find each color, ask them to name it.
