Activities
1. Draw and color a picture of Helen Keller using the paper and crayons. Talk about what the student knows or wants to learn about her while drawing.
2. Use the computer or tablet to search for pictures of Helen Keller. Look at the pictures together and discuss what the student notices about her appearance.
3. If available, read a Helen Keller book or watch a video about her. Discuss the main events or achievements in her life that are mentioned.

- Helen Keller was a famous person who lived a long time ago. She couldn't see or hear, but she still did amazing things.
- She learned to communicate using sign language. Sign language is a way of using your hands and body to talk to other people who can't hear.
- Helen Keller had a special teacher named Anne Sullivan. Anne helped her learn many things and become a smart and strong person.
- Helen Keller wrote books and gave speeches. She wanted to inspire people and show them that they can do anything they set their minds to.
