Activities

  1. Valentine's Day Song: Start by playing a fun Valentine's Day song for the student. Encourage them to listen and dance along to the music. You can find age-appropriate Valentine's Day songs on platforms like YouTube or Spotify.

  2. Valentine's Day Rhythm: Teach the student a simple rhythm pattern using claps or body movements. For example, you can create a pattern like "clap, clap, stomp, clap." Practice the rhythm together and encourage the student to come up with their own variations.

  3. Valentine's Day Sing-along: Sing a familiar nursery rhyme or children's song with a Valentine's Day twist. For example, you can change the lyrics of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" to "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Heart." Sing the song together and encourage the student to participate.

  4. Valentine's Day Musical Craft: Provide the student with Valentine's Day themed coloring sheets or plain paper. Ask them to draw or color pictures related to the songs they listened to or the rhythms they practiced. Display their artwork proudly!
