Activities
Listen to Valentine's Day songs: Play a selection of Valentine's Day-themed songs for the student. Encourage them to listen and enjoy the music. Discuss the emotions and feelings the songs evoke.
Create a Valentine's Day song: Ask the student to come up with their own Valentine's Day song. Provide them with a simple melody or encourage them to make up their own. They can sing or hum the song while you write down the lyrics. Afterward, encourage them to draw a picture that represents their song.
Dance to the music: Choose a lively Valentine's Day song and encourage the student to dance along. Show them some fun dance moves or let them freestyle. This activity promotes physical activity and coordination.
Make a musical instrument: Help the student create a simple musical instrument using materials at home. For example, they can make a shaker using a plastic bottle filled with rice or beans. Let them experiment with different sounds and rhythms.
