Objective
The objective of this lesson is to introduce the 1-year-old homeschool student to various subjects such as Art, English, Foreign Language, History, Math, Music, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies through fun activities and talking points that align with their interests in Blues clues, animals, nightmare before Christmas, rocks, playing outside, cooking, playing with water, little people toys, hey bear sensory, ponyo, and princess mononoke.
Materials and Prep

- A collection of rocks
- Outdoor toys for playing outside (e.g., balls, bubbles)
- Child-friendly cooking utensils and ingredients for a simple recipe

Make sure to have a safe and comfortable learning environment for the student.
Activities
- Art: Provide the student with Blues clues-themed coloring sheets and crayons. Encourage them to color and explore different colors.
- English: Show the student animal picture flashcards and name the animals together. Practice making animal sounds.
- Foreign Language: Introduce simple foreign language words related to animals, such as "dog" or "cat," and repeat them with the student.
- History: Read the Nightmare before Christmas storybook together, pointing out different characters and discussing the concept of holidays.
- Math: Use the collection of rocks to count and sort. Encourage the student to stack the rocks and explore different sizes and shapes.
