Materials and Prep

  • Prior knowledge of what makes someone a good friend

Activities

  • Watch a short animated video about bullying and discuss what happened in the video.

  • Role-play different scenarios where someone is being bullied and practice standing up for them.

  • Create a poster with drawings and words that promote kindness and friendship.

  • Read a storybook about friendship and discuss how the characters in the story treat each other.

  • "Bullying is when someone is mean to another person on purpose, over and over again."

  • "Bullying can happen at school, on the playground, or even online."

  • "It's important to stand up for someone who is being bullied and tell a grown-up about it."
