Activities

Activity 1: Current Science News
Have the student research and choose a recent science news article that interests them. Ask them to summarize the article in their own words and explain why they find it relevant to their lives.

Activity 2: Science in Everyday Life
Ask the student to identify three examples of science-related issues that directly impact their daily lives. It could be related to technology, health, environment, or any other relevant area. Have them write a short paragraph for each example, explaining why it is important and how it affects them personally.

Choose a current science-related topic that has different viewpoints. Divide the student into two groups and assign each group a different perspective to research and defend. Encourage them to present their arguments using scientific evidence and critical thinking skills.
