Talking Points
- Tier 1 Words: "Tier 1 words are basic words that we use every day, like 'happy' and 'jump'. They are easy to understand."
- Tier 2 Words: "Tier 2 words are a little bit more advanced. They make our sentences more interesting and colorful. An example is 'magnificent' instead of just 'good'."
- Tier 3 Words: "Tier 3 words are very specific and usually used in certain subjects or professions. For example, 'photosynthesis' is a Tier 3 word related to plants."
- Using Words Effectively: "When we use Tier 2 and Tier 3 words, we can explain things better and make our writing more exciting. It's like adding sprinkles to ice cream!"
