Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to gather and organize data, and display data in lists, tables, and picture graphs.

Materials and Prep

  • Paper
  • Pencils or colored markers
  • Ruler

No prior knowledge needed, just bring your enthusiasm!

Activities

  • Create a list of your favorite animals and their quantities. Organize them in alphabetical order.
  • Draw a table with columns for different fruits and rows for their quantities. Fill in the table with your favorite fruits.
  • Draw a picture graph to represent the number of sunny, cloudy, and rainy days in a week. Use different symbols for each type of day.
