Activities
- Start by explaining to the student what a word search is and how it works. Show them the printed Word Search Country Fair activity sheet.
- Go through the list of words related to a country fair and help the student understand their meanings if needed.
- Encourage the student to find and circle the words in the word search puzzle. Remind them to pay attention to the direction of the words (horizontal, vertical, diagonal).
- Once the student has completed the word search, review the words together and discuss any unfamiliar words or concepts.
- Challenge the student to use some of the words in sentences to reinforce their spelling and understanding.
