Objective

By the end of the lesson, you will be able to rally a variety of different sized balls backwards and forwards using a racquet, focusing on pushing and trapping the ball.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed:

  • Racquet
  • Assorted balls of different sizes
  • Open space for movement

Before starting the lesson, make sure the area is clear of any obstacles that could interfere with the ball rolling activity.

Activities

1. **Push and Trap**: Practice pushing the ball towards your partner and trapping it when it comes back. Focus on controlling the ball with your racquet.

2. **Size Switch**: Use different sized balls and notice how the rally changes with each size. Try to adapt your movements to the ball's size.

3. **Obstacle Course**: Set up a simple obstacle course and try to rally the ball through the course without stopping. This will help improve coordination and focus.

Talking Points
