Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will learn about Chinese New Year and its traditions.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: paper, markers or crayons, scissors, red envelopes (can be made from paper), and a computer or tablet for research.

Before the lesson, make sure to have some knowledge about Chinese New Year customs and traditions.

Activities

1. Create your own Chinese New Year decorations using paper and markers.

2. Make your own red envelopes and write good luck messages on them.

3. Watch videos or look at pictures online to see how Chinese New Year is celebrated in China.
