Objective

By the end of this lesson, Malachi will learn about Greenpatch National Park through art, history, science, and social studies activities.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: paper, coloring supplies, computer or books for research, access to a printer.

Prep: Familiarize yourself with Greenpatch National Park and print out any necessary information or coloring sheets.

Activities

  • Art: Draw a picture of Greenpatch National Park. Include trees, animals, and a river.
  • History: Research the history of the park. When was it established? Who were the people involved?
  • Science: Learn about the different plants and animals that can be found in the park. Create a mini wildlife guide.
