Materials and Prep

  • Sesame Street videos or books
  • World map or globe

Prep:

  • Set up a cozy learning area with cushions and blankets
  • Have snacks and water ready for breaks

Activities

1. Physical Education: Dance along with Elmo and friends in Sesame Street songs.

2. Science: Learn about the human body by singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" with Big Bird.

3. Social Studies: Watch a Sesame Street episode where the characters explore different countries and cultures.

  • Discussing Physical Education:
    Let's dance like Elmo! Can you jump like Elmo? Yay, good job!
  • Exploring Science:
    Where is your head? Can you touch your shoulders? Great job!
  • Learning about Social Studies:
