Activities

  • Time Travel Drawing: Imagine you could travel back in time to your favorite place. Draw a picture of what it would look like in the past and present.
  • Story Time: Read a story about a character who lived a long time ago. Think about how their life was different from yours.
  • Compare and Contrast: Look at pictures of old and new buildings, clothing, or transportation. Write down how they are similar and different.

  • Change and Continuity: "Change means things are different now than they were in the past. Continuity means some things stay the same over time."
  • Examples of Change: "Think about how phones have changed from big, corded phones to small, mobile phones we use today."
  • Examples of Continuity: "Some traditions like celebrating birthdays or holidays have been passed down from generation to generation."
