Objective

Materials and Prep

Materials Needed: Swimsuit, Goggles, Towel

Prep: Ensure the swimming area is safe and have an adult present if needed.

Activities

  • Warm-Up Swim: Start with a few laps of freestyle to warm up your muscles and get comfortable in the water.
  • Underwater Challenge: See how far you can swim underwater without coming up for air. Remember to always come up for air when needed.
  • Float Practice: Practice floating on your back and stomach. Focus on relaxing your body and breathing calmly.
  • Swim Race: Have a friendly race with a family member or imaginary opponent to practice your speed and technique.
