Talking Points
- Cricket is a game played with a bat and ball between two teams of 11 players each. The goal is to score more runs than the opposing team.
- When batting, your main aim is to score runs by hitting the ball and running between the wickets. If you hit the ball to the boundary without it touching the ground, you automatically get four runs.
- When bowling, the bowler aims to get the batsman out by hitting the stumps behind them or by catching the ball hit by the batsman before it bounces.
- Fielding involves stopping the ball and preventing the batsmen from scoring runs. It is essential to work as a team to field effectively.
- Remember, cricket is a game of skill, strategy, and teamwork. Stay focused, communicate with your team, and most importantly, have fun!
