Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to grow your own bean sprouts at home and understand the process of germination.

Materials and Prep

  • 1 glass jar
  • 1/4 cup of dried beans (any type)
  • Water

Activities

  • Bean Sprout Jar: Place the dried beans in the glass jar, add water to cover them, and let them soak overnight.
  • Germination Observation: Observe the beans daily and note any changes you see, such as sprouting roots.
