Activities
-
Draw and Write
Ask the toddler to draw their favorite Minecraft character or scene on a piece of paper. Encourage them to use colors and be creative. After they finish drawing, ask them to describe what they drew and write a simple sentence or two about it. For example, if they drew a creeper, they can write "I drew a green creeper."
-
Storytelling
Provide the toddler with a blank piece of paper and ask them to come up with a short story involving Minecraft. Encourage them to use their imagination and create a beginning, middle, and end for their story. Once they have finished writing, ask them to read their story aloud or share it with someone else.
-
Letter Writing
Explain to the toddler that they can write a letter to their favorite Minecraft character or to a friend who also enjoys Minecraft. Help them write a simple letter expressing their thoughts or asking questions. Encourage them to include drawings or decorations in their letter to make it more personalized.
