No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.

Activities

  1. Build your favorite Lego creation using the Lego bricks.

  2. Once your creation is complete, take a few minutes to observe and think about it. What colors did you use? What shapes did you create?

  3. Using the pencil and paper, write a descriptive paragraph about your Lego creation. Start with a topic sentence that introduces your creation, and then use descriptive words to describe its appearance, size, and any special features.

  4. Read your paragraph aloud to a family member or friend, and ask for their feedback. Did they get a clear picture of your Lego creation from your writing?

  5. Revise your paragraph based on the feedback you received, making any necessary improvements.
