- Yellow paint

- Police-themed music playlist
Prep: Set up the sensory bin with rice or sand, have the art supplies ready, and prepare the music playlist.
Activities
1. Create a Police Car Painting: Let your child dip toy police car wheels in yellow paint and roll them on blue construction paper to create tire track patterns.
2. Sensory Bin Investigation: Hide small toy police figures in the sensory bin and encourage your child to search for them using their senses of touch and sight.
3. Dance Party to Police Music: Play police-themed music and have a dance party with your child, encouraging them to move like police officers on duty.
Talking Points
- Police officers help keep us safe. They wear a special hat and drive a police car. You can pretend to be a police officer too!
- When we look for the hidden police figures in the sensory bin, we use our eyes and hands to find them. Can you find the police officer?
- Let's dance like police officers to the music. We can march, clap our hands, and move around just like the police do when they are working.
