Prep:
- Set up a designated art area with paper and crayons
- Prepare a playlist of calming music
- Have sensory items ready for exploration
Activities
1. Art: Let the student explore the fresh flowers and then help them draw the flowers on paper.
2. English: Teach the student the names of different flowers while showing them the real flowers.
3. Music: Play soft, calming music and dance with the student while holding a flower.
4. Sensory: Allow the student to touch and smell the flowers, as well as explore different textures related to flowers.
