Objective

No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson. Just bring your enthusiasm!

Activities

  • Begin the trail walk with a nature scavenger hunt. Look for specific plants, animals, or landmarks and sketch them in your sketchbook.
  • Find a scenic spot along the trail and take a break to do some plein air drawing. Capture the beauty of the surroundings on paper.
  • Engage in some physical activities along the way. Incorporate short bursts of jogging, jumping jacks, or even tree climbing to keep the energy up.
  • End the walk with a cool-down yoga session amidst nature. Focus on deep breathing and stretching to relax your body and mind.
