Activities
- Drawing Feelings: Draw different facial expressions and discuss what emotions they represent.
- Role-Playing: Act out scenarios where understanding differences is important, like sharing toys or helping a friend.
- Creating a "Differences" Poster: Make a poster celebrating the uniqueness of each individual, including KAUATOA.
Talking Points
- Quotation: "Autism is a unique way of seeing the world. Just like how we all have different favorite colors, people with Autism experience things differently too."
- Quotation: "It's okay to be different! Our differences make us special and interesting. Imagine how boring it would be if we were all exactly the same."
