Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to identify all seven continents on a map and learn a fun fact about each one!

Materials and Prep

  • World map or globe
  • Coloring pencils or markers
  • Printed continent coloring sheets (optional)
  • Excitement to learn about the world!

Activities

  • Continents Coloring: Use your coloring pencils to color each continent on the map. You can also print out coloring sheets for each continent to color and label.
  • Continents Dance: Create a dance move for each continent! For example, for Africa, you can stomp your feet like elephants.
  • Continents Storytime: Let's read a story about a child who travels to all seven continents. Imagine all the exciting adventures!
