Objective
By the end of this lesson, your 1-year-old will be able to recognize basic Spring-related objects and practice counting with fun activities.
Materials and Prep
- Colorful Spring-themed toys (flowers, butterflies, bees, etc.)
- Empty egg carton
- Small basket or container
- Prepare a cozy space for learning
Activities
- Spring Scavenger Hunt: Hide the Spring-themed toys around the room and let your child find them. Encourage counting as they collect each item.
- Egg Carton Sorting: Place different Spring objects in the egg carton compartments and ask your child to sort them by color or type.
- Basket Filling: Provide the basket or container and have your child fill it with the Spring toys. Count together as each toy is placed in the basket.

- "Look at this pretty flower! Can you find more flowers like this?"
- "Let's count together - one flower, two flowers, three flowers!"
- "Can you put the yellow butterfly in this compartment? Good job!"
