Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create a beautiful hand print spring tree artwork using your handprint as the trunk and your fingers as flowers and leaves.
Materials and Prep
Materials needed:
- White paper
- Washable finger paint in various colors
Prep: Make sure to cover the work area with newspaper or a plastic tablecloth to prevent messes.
Activities
1. Begin by tracing your hand on the white paper using a pencil. This will be the trunk of your tree.
2. Dip your fingers in different colors of paint and create flower blossoms at the tips of the fingers by pressing them around the traced handprint.
3. Use green paint to add leaves to the branches of your tree by using your fingers to make leaf shapes.
4. Let your artwork dry and then display it proudly for everyone to see!
