Activities
- Alphabet Scavenger Hunt: Hide alphabet flashcards around the house and have the student find them. Once found, ask them to say the letter and a word that starts with that letter.
- Word Building: Use alphabet flashcards to build simple words like "cat", "dog", and "sun". Have the student sound out each letter and then say the word.
- Story Time: Read a simple picture book together. Encourage the student to try reading some of the words they recognize. Ask questions about the story to ensure comprehension.
- Write and Draw: Have the student pick a word they learned today and write it on a piece of paper. Then, ask them to draw a picture related to that word.
