Materials and Prep

  • 1 small potted plant
  • Water
  • Sunlight
  • Scissors
  • White paper
  • Markers or crayons

No prior knowledge needed, just be ready to have fun exploring!

Activities

  • Plant Observation: Observe your potted plant. Draw a picture of it on the white paper.
  • Photosynthesis Experiment: Place the plant in sunlight and cover a leaf with the white paper. After a few hours, remove the paper and observe any changes.
  • Photosynthesis Drawing: Draw a picture showing how sunlight helps the plant make food.
