Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to learn some basic foreign language phrases while having fun with Pokemon!

Materials and Prep

Materials: Pokemon cards or pictures, paper, crayons/markers

Prep: None, just bring your enthusiasm and love for Pokemon!

Activities

1. Pokemon Vocabulary Drawing: Choose a Pokemon and draw it while saying its name in the foreign language.

2. Pokemon Memory Game: Match Pokemon cards while saying their names in the foreign language.

3. Pokemon Charades: Act out a Pokemon and have the student guess the name in the foreign language.

  • How to say "Thank you": "Merci!" (French), "Gracias!" (Spanish)
