Objective

Activities

  1. Read the passage about legos aloud to the student, pointing to each word as you read.
  2. Ask the student to read the passage silently to themselves.
  3. Discuss the passage with the student, asking questions about the main idea, key details, and any unfamiliar words.
  4. Have the student write a short summary of the passage in their own words.
  5. Ask the student comprehension questions related to the passage, such as "What color are legos?" or "How many legos did the boy have?"
