Prep: Make sure you have a comfortable space to work in and a positive attitude ready!
Activities
- Word Hunt: Write down 5 new words you want to learn today on separate pieces of paper. Hide them around your learning space and go on a word hunt to find them. Once found, say the word out loud and try to use it in a sentence.
- Story Time: Use the words you found in the word hunt to create a short story. Draw pictures to go along with your story and share it with a family member or a friend.
- Word Art: Choose one of the words you learned today and create a colorful and creative word art piece. Decorate the word with drawings and designs that represent its meaning to you.
