Materials and Prep

Materials: Books of various genres, paper, pencils, ruler, music player, space for physical activities

Prep: Familiarize yourself with the books to be used in the lesson.

Activities

1. English: Choose a book, read a chapter, and write a short summary.

2. History: Select a historical fiction book and research the time period it is set in.

3. Math: Count the number of pages in a book and calculate how long it would take to read it at different reading speeds.

4. Music: Listen to instrumental music and draw a picture inspired by the emotions it evokes.

5. Physical Education: Act out a scene from a book and describe the movements involved.

6. Science: Choose a non-fiction book about animals and create a poster showcasing interesting facts.

7. Social Studies: Read a book about a different culture and write about the customs and traditions mentioned.
