Objective

Activities

1. Activity 1: Exploring Minecraft Shapes

   Start Minecraft and enter a creative mode world. Spend some time exploring the different shapes and structures you can find in the game. Take notes on any interesting shapes you come across.

2. Activity 2: Building with Blocks

   Choose a specific shape from your notes and try to recreate it using Minecraft blocks. Use the different block types to build the shape as accurately as possible. Take note of the number of blocks used for each side or dimension.

3. Activity 3: Calculating Perimeter

   Using the dimensions of the shape you built, calculate the perimeter. The perimeter is the total length of all the sides of a shape. Add up the lengths of each side to find the perimeter.

4. Activity 4: Exploring Symmetry

   Find a symmetrical structure in Minecraft and analyze its symmetry. Take note of the line or point of symmetry and identify the identical or mirror image parts of the structure.
