Objective

By the end of this lesson, Alfie will learn about the history of cars and have fun exploring different types of cars.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: Toy cars, pictures of different cars, paper, and coloring pencils.

No prior knowledge needed, just bring your curiosity and love for cars!

Activities

  • Car Race: Line up toy cars and have a race to see which one is the fastest.
  • Car Coloring: Color pictures of different cars and create your own car designs.
  • Car Show: Display your toy cars and talk about each one, pretending to be a car show host.

  • Point 1: "Long ago, people didn't have cars. They used horses or walked to go places."
  • Point 2: "Cars were invented to help people travel faster and carry more things."
  • Point 3: "There are different types of cars like race cars, trucks, and even cars that can drive themselves!"
