Activities

  • Math Exploration: Zernayia will create a shopping list, calculate costs, and look for deals while shopping. Encourage her to round numbers and practice adding to the nearest pound.
  • Literacy Adventure: Zernayia will read her favorite comics and magazines. Discuss the content with her to explore new vocabulary and meanings of words. Have her write a short story using adjectives.
  • Creative Crafting: Engage in a wood crafting session where Zernayia will measure and cut materials. Discuss angles and measurements while working on a small project together.
  • Time Management Game: Play a board game that involves time calculations. Ask Zernayia to estimate travel times and set alarms on her digital clock for specific activities.
  • Culinary Math: Bake together and discuss measurements and conversions. Let Zernayia take the lead in measuring ingredients and calculating portions.
