- Letter Hunt: Write a few random letters on the whiteboard or paper. Ask the student to find and circle the letters that are out of order. Encourage them to say the name of each letter as they find it.
- Letter Sorting: Give the student a mix of letters in a bag or container. Ask them to take out one letter at a time and place it in either the "In Order" or "Out of Order" pile. Discuss why each letter belongs to a specific category.
