Materials and Prep
- A computer or tablet with internet access
- Paper and pencil
- Access to a Minecraft-themed reading passage (can be found online or created by the teacher)
Activities

Read the Minecraft-themed passage aloud or silently. Take your time to understand the story and the characters.

Write down any unfamiliar words or phrases from the passage. Look up their meanings and write them in your own words.

Identify the main characters and their goals in the story. Write a short paragraph describing each character and their motivations.

Answer comprehension questions about the passage. These questions may ask about the plot, character traits, or the lesson learned in the story. Use complete sentences to answer the questions.

Discuss the story with a family member or friend. Share your thoughts and opinions about the characters and events in the Minecraft-themed passage.
