Activities
- Read Bug Books: Start the lesson by reading bug books or bug-related reading materials together. Encourage the student to actively listen and engage in discussions about the bugs mentioned in the books.
- Bug Characteristics Drawing: After reading, provide the student with paper and crayons/markers. Ask them to draw their favorite bug and label its characteristics, such as the number of legs, wings, or unique features.
- Bug Hunt: Take the student on a bug hunt in your backyard or nearby park. Encourage them to observe and identify different bugs they come across. If possible, let them use bug-themed stickers to mark the bugs they find in their bug books.
