- An open space for activities
- Enthusiasm and energy!
Activities
- Art: Have the student create a colorful obstacle course map using crayons and paper.
- English: Practice naming body parts while doing Parkour movements (e.g., jump with your legs, reach with your arms).
- Math: Count how many jumps or steps it takes to reach different spots in the room.
- Physical Education: Encourage the student to crawl under a "limbo" stick and jump over small obstacles.
- Science: Explore gravity by discussing how jumping up and down makes us come back to the ground.
Talking Points
- "Let's draw a map of our obstacle course together! What colors should we use?"
- "Can you show me how you jump with your legs? Great job!"
- "How many steps did you take to get from the chair to the table? Let's count together!"
- "Can you crawl under the stick like a sneaky animal? You're so quick!"
- "When we jump up, what makes us come back down? Gravity helps us land safely!"
