Materials and Prep
- Cardboard box
- Marbles
- Markers
- Scissors
- Tape
- Clear plastic sheet
No special knowledge needed, just creativity and imagination!
Activities
- Create a maze design on the inside of the cardboard box using markers.
- Cut out the maze path carefully with scissors.
- Tape the clear plastic sheet over the top of the maze to keep the marbles from falling out.
- Add marbles to the maze and tilt the box to navigate the marbles through the maze.
Talking Points
- Let's draw a fun maze on the box! What twists and turns should we include? Let's use bright colors to make it exciting!
- Now, let's carefully cut out the maze path. Remember, slow and steady wins the race!
- We're almost there! Let's secure the plastic sheet over our maze. This will keep our marbles safe inside.
