Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will have fun creating your very own caterpillar using only your hands and imagination!

Materials and Prep

• Nothing! Just your hands and creativity.
• Make sure you have a clear workspace to work on.

Activities

• Create a caterpillar by using your fingers to draw a line of dots on a piece of paper. Each dot represents a segment of the caterpillar's body.

• Name your caterpillar and give it a fun personality. Is it silly? Shy? Brave?

• Add eyes, a smile, and any other features to your caterpillar to bring it to life!

• Once your caterpillar is complete, make up a story about it. Where does it live? What adventures does it go on?
